New Delhi: Commercial Chief Vistara Vinod Kannan will be the executive chief airline from January 1, 2022, when Leslie Thng currently moves back to Singapore Airline (SIA).
Vistara is a full JV service from Tata Group and SIA.

Kannan has joined Vistara in June 2019 as the Chief Strategy Officer and is currently heading regions such as network planning, income, marketing, customer experience, and cabin service functions.
He began his career in SIA in 2001 and has held various senior positions in the airline.
Before joining Vistara, he served as CCO from Scoot, SIA budget arm.
Holding a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and the University of California, Los Angeles, Kannan has handled global network planning and has spent eight years running operations in Indonesia, Italy and Saudi Arabia.
Chairman Vistara Bhaskar Bhat said: “Leslie has led the airline through a significant phase, with the start of international operations and the entry into various aircraft including the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
Vinod will lead Vistara in the next growth phase, building a strong foundation placed by Leslie.
The company continues to benefit from the strong commitment of two Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines partners to Vistara.
