Coimbatore: Member of the Administration Committee CSI was attacked by a group of people during the meeting held at the competition course in the city on Monday.
The Southern Church Administration Committee (CSI) meeting, Coimbatore’s diocese, occurred at the CSI Appasamy Higher Education Bishop in the race line to discuss alleged misuse of funds by several members.
During the meeting, a group of members began attacking Nesamerlin, an advocate and committee member, using Mike Stand.
He suffered a bleeding injury in his head.
The incident, which was described by several members on several members on their cellphones, went viral on social media.
Following the incident, Nesamerlin filed a complaint with a racial course that enrolled a case against Charles Jacob, Paramanandham and several others.
They were ordered below in section 147 (punishment for riots), 148 (riots armed with deadly weapons), 323 (punishment because voluntarily caused injury), 324 (voluntarily caused injured by weapons or dangerous facilities), 307 (efforts to kill ), 448 (penalties for home trespasses) and 506 (ii) (criminal intimidation) from the Indian Criminal Code.
