Violence: Priyanka, SC Mishra stopped at Lucknow

Lucknow: Following reports that some senior opposition leaders plan to go to Lakhimpur Kheri on Sunday night itself, the police threw a security ring around the house of all the main opposition leaders in Lucknow.
While the Secretary General of Congress Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has reached Lucknow and will leave for Kheri, BSP SC Mishra’s secretary general will also leave the night itself.
But both have been stopped.
“This is not a home arrest situation, but they will not be allowed to go to Lakhimpur.
We keep a watch close to them,” said a senior police officer who oversees the guard rope around the opposition VIP house in Lucknow.
“We will not allow one of the opposition leaders to Lakhimpur from Lucknow because their visits can damage the situation there,” he said.
The report said the police were also deployed outside the residence of the National President of the Jamajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav.
