Prasagraj: Violence, Torture and Death in detention is always a concern for civilized society, observing the High Court of Allahabad on Wednesday for denying guarantees to a police officer who was ordered for causing the death of a man’s custodian in 1997.
Refusing the Guarantee Application of Police Sher Ali, justice Samit Gopal was observed, “Custodial violence, Custodian torture and Custodian’s death is always a concern for civilized society.
Time and more court decisions from the APEX court and other courts have demonstrated their concerns and sadness in such things.” The court also quoted the verdict.
