Patna: The Vikasheel Insaan Party (VIP) has decided to sustainably 165 of the 403 seats in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh, the head of the party and Minister of Bihar Mukesh Sahani said on Sunday.
“I made preparations concentrated on the assembly poll.
I have been going there even the day before yesterday.
At present, we strengthen our party base with our resources in 165 constituencies,” he said.
When told that JD (U), another allied NDA, would prefer to oppose the poll with BJP, Sahani said, “Until now, VIP has decided to go alone in the poll.” Source said the Sahani Party made preparations in the constituency that had a significant population of Nishad, instead, the election and other allied castees above.
A few weeks ago, Sahani has announced to distribute 50,000 sculpture of bandit queen-turn-politicians and former member of Parliament Phooolan Devi among party workers to Woo Mallah and Nishad chose.
Phoolan belongs to the community instead.
