Sacramento: Hospital in the heart of the middle valley California runs out of beds in their intensive care unit, state officials announced Friday, because the more contagious versions of Coronavirus continued to spread especially among the populations that were not vaccinated.
The hospital in the San Joaquin 12-region area has less than 10% of the adult ICU bed staff for three consecutive days.
State officials gave a label “surge,” triggered special rules announced last month which requires the nearest hospital to accept transfer patients.
In Fresno County and neighboring countries, the number of Coronavirus patients who were confirmed and the allegations of hospitals more than doubled what was four weeks ago, Fresno Bee reported.
In San Joaquin District, new virus cases and the number of people treated in hospitals have exceeded the peak number of cases and patients during the last summer surge, according to regional health workers.
But a spokesman for the district emergency service office said County had enough hospital beds to avoid moving patients out of the area on Friday.
If the problem is getting worse and the ICU capacity falls to zero, the state says hospitals throughout the California must also accept moving patients.
In the entire state, the new Koronavirus case has declined after a surge that is associated with a Delta variant, a more contagious and dangerous virus version.
Tuesday, Governor Gavin Newsom announced more than 80% of California 12 and older had received at least one dose of coronavirus vaccine – placing California among the highest level of vaccine in the country.
But inpatiently related to Coronavirus in the state continues to climb.
On Thursday, 8,630 people were hospitalized because Coronavirus in all the states, more than five times the number of people were hospitalized on July 1.
“It’s still especially, very, the pandemic is not vaccinated,” Newscom said Tuesday.
