Visakhapatnam: Prof.
Neeleli Bendapudi, an alumnus of Andhra University, has brought a victory to the port city by being named as the next president of Pennsylvania State University, USA.
He will assume his new position in Spring 2022.
When he started his appointment, he would make history as the first woman and a colored person to rise to the position of Pennsylvania State University.
Prof.
Neeleli currently serves as President of Louisville University, USA.
Previously, he was provost and Kansas representative Kansas University.
Prof.
Neeli pursued early education, graduation and master’s degree in Visakhapatnam before leaving for the US.
He studied the Masters in Business Administration at the University of Andhra.
After completing a doctorate in the United States in 1994, Prof.
Neeleli began his academic career as assistant professor of marketing at A & M Texas University, and later became a professor at Fisher College of Business Ohio State University.

He is the oldest daughter of Prof.
Tamesh Dutta and Prof.
Padma Dutta, professor of England, Andhra University.
Prof.
Ramesh Dutta is the Head of the Founding of Journalism and the Mass Communication Department of the University of Andhra.

Neeleli has taught in a Bachelor (MBA, MBA and the executive PhD.

He received several prestigious awards, including the Academy of Marketing Science Award Marketing Teacher, American Marketing Association Marketing Educator of the Year Award, Alumni Shoping Teaching Award, PACE Teachers Teaching Teaching and Professor Professor Choice Award.
