Jaipur: The new cabinet minister was appointed by Vishvendra Singh on Wednesday took over as Minister of Tourism in the Secretariat.
Singh, who was sacked together with Deputy Chairperson of the Minister of Sachin Pilot and the other minister of Ramesh Meena last year for the rebellion against the Chief Minister of Ashok Gehlot, had a religious ritual carried out through a priest before sitting in a chair.
After taking over, he talked about making Rajasthan a more touristy country.
Given his previous term, the Minister of Tourism said that many innovations began by him helped develop the country’s tourism sector.
“They will be brought forward and the new tourism circuit will also be developed to promote tourism,” he said.
For this purpose, the Meeting of the Department of Tourism and Corporation of Rajasthan Tourism Development (RTDC) will be held and the strategy will be developed, he said.
Besides Singh, Ministry of Health and Engineering (PHP) Minister Mahesh Joshi, and Health Minister Parsadi Lal Meena also took over.
Fifteen ministers – All three increased from the Minister of State to the rank of the cabinet – was sworn on Sunday for the expanded Gehlot Cabinet, fulfilling the main demand made by the pilot, whose rebellion last year rocked the government of the State Congress.
The new Induke is given a portfolio on Monday.
