Vishwakarma University among top 200 International Schools at Times Higher Education Positions

PUNE: City-based Vishwakarma University (VU) has featured one of the top 200 world universities at the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2021 at the sterile and Affordable Energy class.

VU is among the youngest universities to take part in the ranks.
VU was set in the group of 601-800 in total positions throughout the participating universities along with the top 300 in connection with Clean Water and Sanitation parameter, the VU said in a media release.
These positions are the sole international performance tables which evaluate universities contrary to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Carefully calibrated signs are utilised to supply balanced and comprehensive contrast across four broad areas: study, stewardship, outreach, and teaching when determining the position.
The 2021 Impact Rankings is the next edition and the general ranking comprises 1,117 universities out of 94 countries/regions.

“We’ve transdisciplinary Centres of Excellence, for example Eco-Campus, collaborative facility using Integrated Environmental Services, WILO – VU Water Quality Centre of Excellence, along with an ecosystem to produce a connection between business, students, school, and stakeholders.
These centers aim to offer a sustainable alternative to real life issues.
We’re enjoying our role to ease government’s goal to attain energy efficient, energy accessibility and decrease in their carbon footprints” explained Bharat Agarwal, President, Vishwakarma University.
VU Vice-Chancellor Professor Siddharth Jabade stated,”
VU has integrated the SDG assignment in teaching-learning, student jobs, internships, and semi calibrated domestic and worldwide collaborations.
Pupils are sensitized to SDGs aims and that they take it ahead in professional and personal lives.
Our attempts will be in consonance with India’s obligations to decrease greenhouse gas emissions strength and attain high electrical power capability from non-fossil resources by 2030″.
