Hyderabad: Congress on Tuesday demanded that Chairman K Chandrasekhar Rao also have to visit family members hundreds of martyrs who put their lives for the causes of state to Telangana.
Referring to the KCR CM pilgrimage for Tamil Nadu, all spokesman Indian Congress Committee Dasoju Sravan said as many as 1,560 people gave their lives to Telangana states and demanded that cm must take the time to visit the Telangana family member.
Sravan along with family members from several martyrs and various associations on Tuesday protests in the martyrdom commemoration opposite the State Assembly demanding financial assistance Rs 10 lakh, government work, three acre bedroom houses to family members from each martyr.
“It is social and moral responsibility to respect martyrs and provide their family’s welfare.
Ignoring them such as insulting martyrs.
Congress will launch a protest program in a big way to justice to be done on martyrs and their families,” said Sravan.
Although TRS included his election manifesto to help the families of the martyrs but have limited government assistance to only the family of 576 martyrs who opposed 1560 which was Martyred, said Sravan.
