Visit of Kerala Students Often to Kampung Kampungan A Cause of Attention

Mangaluru: District health department officials have expressed concern for students from Kerala often to their hometown.

They are limited to entering even the hostel dining room during the quarantine period.

Ashok H, District Nodal Officer for Covid-19, said that if an infected student came on campus, all the main contacts might be infected, if they did not stay in quarantine for a week.
“I have sent a letter to all medical colleges, paramedics, and engineering in the district, directed their management to insist on quarantine for seven days for students from Kerala.
Institutions have been told that only checking the negative report RT-PCR students is not enough.
