Pune: tourist destinations in all Pune districts closed earlier this month because the case surge will be reopened from Monday, orders from district collectors stated on Sunday.
Food outlets in these locations are also allowed to open.
Green signals have also been given to restart recreational activities on open land and swimming pools for training for state, national or international competitions.
“Even if the Omicron variant spreads quickly, the percentage of people who are hospitalized are very low.
So the restrictions introduced in the district will be appointed stepped step by step,” said Collector of the Rajesh Deshmukh District in the Order.
Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) decided to issue its order on Sunday night.
“We will issue a sequence along the district administration line,” said Vikas Dhakane, the additional PCMC commissioner.
Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), until the time of the press, has not yet issued an order.
Ravindra Binwade, additional PMC commissioner, does not reply to a call or message to comment on.
The earlier command has prevented a large meeting in more than 50 tourist attractions in the district, including the location in Maval, Mulshi, Haveli, Ambegaon, Junnar, Bhor and Velha Tehsils.
Many of these locations saw a large number of visitors over the weekend.
