Mumbai: The first vistadome coach at Mumbai-Pune DECCAN Ratu on the independence day was greeted with an extraordinary response, with all coaches fully booked for two days.
The coach provides an extraordinary view of Ghats especially during the rainy season – which can be experienced with a large window.
Spokesperson for the Shivaji Sutar Head of the Shivaji, “this is the second Vistadome coach introduced on the Pune route.
The first was introduced on this route by train 01007/01008 CSP-Pune-CSTM Deccan Express on June 26.” He then said that the beautiful scenery of the Ghat section would attract more passengers to travel with this specially designed coach.
Sutar further added, “Vistadome coach has been renovated with decorative vinyl wrappers at the door, the observation area with aesthetic increase, and the interior is painted with a new living color scheme.
The coach’s external area has been printed with a sketch of Chhatrapati.
