Mumbai: Vistara’s full service operator inaugurated non-stop flights between Delhi and Tokyo Haneda on Wednesday.
At present passengers who meet the visa requirements and entry as referred to in both countries can travel with this flight.
“Under the air bubble agreement between India and Japan, Vistara will fly once a week between the two cities using the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner,” said a statement issued by Vistara.
The initial flight departed Delhi at 3 in the morning and landed in Tokyo (Haneda) at 2:50 p.m., local time.
CEO of Vistara Leslie Thng, said: “We hope to further strengthen our presence on this new route in the coming months.” The airline said the passengers must fully understand the applicable guidelines before making an order.
