New Delhi: Delhi on Friday reported 24,383 Covid-19 cases and 34 deaths while the level of participants jumped to 30.64 percent, according to the Ministry of Health data.
Although the number of new cases is less than Thursday, the level of participation increases.
On Thursday, Delhi reported 28,867 cases of Covid-19, a surge in the sharpest one day since the beginning of the pandemic, and 31 deaths, while the level of participation reached 29.21 percent.
The biggest daily surge in Delhi was 28,395 cases recorded on April 20 last year.
According to data, Friday’s peposititivity level was the highest since May 1, when it was 31.61 percent.
On Wednesday, Delhi has recorded 40 deaths, the highest since June 10 last year, when 44 fatalities were recorded.
According to government data, 2,529 patients were in the hospital.
815 patients were on oxygen support, including 99 in the ventilator.
