Vivo patented smartphones with drones inside

The brand of Consumer Technology belongs to BBK Vivo reportedly submitted a patent for a smartphone that will accommodate a flying camera.
This report suggests Vivo is the first OEM aiming to accommodate a drone camera on the handset itself.
It was reported by Lets Go Digital who saw that this patent was submitted in December 2020 for Vivo mobile communication with the world of intellectual property (WIPO) and only released now.
According to the report, Vivo plans to accommodate additional compartments on smartphones to accommodate a hidden camera system that contains two camera sensors, three infrared closeness sensors, four propellers and additional batteries.
Patent apparently mentioned that one camera will be at the top and other cameras will be placed on the front.
Therefore, by positioning the camera in a different place, the user maintains the possibility to shoot from a different angle.
There will also be an option to add a third and fourth camera too.
This report explains that the camera system in the patent shows that it can slide out of housing and fully released along with the installation bracket.
The installation bracket is said to integrate fingerprint sensors.
The camera system is said to be able to fly by utilizing integrated propellers.
Infrared sensors are said to be able to track the distance from other objects to avoid collisions during the flight.
The report also states that flight cameras can change the position to maintain more flexibility when shooting.
The possibility of operation will come with support for air motion through a smartphone but the patent does not mention the details on the front.
