Vadodara: After the Head of BJP Country C R Paatil and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel expressed concerns on the threat of livestock, Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has planned a large drive against city livestock with victims.
On Monday, a meeting was called by VMC to discuss this issue.
In addition to police officers VMC and City, Kuningan over the BJP City Unit remained present for the meeting.
It was decided at a meeting that all livestock owners had to get RFID tags in their bovine within 30 days.
Every livestock seized without a tag will not be released.
The Civic body will also increase the number of teams to seize livestock.
Of the three teams per day, the number will be increased to five teams a day.
In two shifts from 7am to 11pm, two teams will operate at each shift.
The fifth team will operate at the night shift so as to ensure wild livestock in the day.
The representative meeting of livestock owners in the city has been summoned on Tuesday.
Starting on Wednesday, the Civic body plans to adopt a strict posture about wild livestock and ensure that they do not come on the streets of the city.
