Vadodara: Corporation Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) will receive Rs 167.60.
From the National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd (NHSRCL) to land that will be obtained for the Bullet train project.
NHSRCL is set to acquire land from VMC on alignment for bullet trains.
Train alignment across the city from Chhani at one end and for Manja on the other side.
VMC must part with 1.63,265.72 square meters of land in the city.
This land includes space intended for the proposed roads, roads and existing lines and open plots.
VMC will be compensated at a double price of ‘Jantri’ or the official government tariff for land.
The tourism information center founded near the train station must also be destroyed for the project.
It was built recently and VMC will be compensated for the job too.
