However, after the revision, the RS 219 plan user will get a total data of 30GB.
This plan also offers the ability to make local and national calls without limits along with 100 SMS per day.
This prepaid plan from VI comes with 28 days validity.
Along with this plan, VI customers also have free access to film VI and basic TV.
To take advantage of additional 2GB data benefits, users must recharge both from the company’s website or cellular application.
Meanwhile, the Telecom (DOT) department has slapped the RS 2,000 Crore penalty on the idea of Vodafone and Rs 1,050 Crore on Bharti Airtel based on the recommendation of the Trai Sector Regulator five years ago, according to sources.
Dot has given three weeks to telecommunications operators to pay a penalty.
In October 2016, the Indian Telecommunication Supervisory Authority (Trai) has recommended forcing a total punishment of Rs 3,050 Crore at Airtel, Vodafone and the idea (now joining) for allegedly denying inter-connectivity to Reliance Jio.
The regulator has, at that time, stopped recommending the cancellation of their telecommunications licenses which said it could cause significant consumer discomfort.
Trai recommendations have filed complaints with Jio’s dependence that more than 75 percent of calls on the network failed because petellings did not release the number of sufficient interface points (POI).
