And at this time, young student leaders and voluntary organizations help the locals affected by flooding with food and other important items, many even use boats and navigate deep waters to meet the needs of flood-affected people.
Timely assistance for a flood-hit population, especially regional rural areas, has such significance, despite the efforts of mammoths from district administration, assistance by voluntary organizations and individuals goes away in reducing the challenges faced by these people.
One such assistance was expanded by the leaders of the University of Allahabad.
The volunteer team, led by Adeel Hamza, who is the Vice President of AU Student Union (AUSU) in 2017 is busy distributing food packages and other important items to various regions that are flooded in the villages of Trans-Ganga.
Traveling on the ship, these children serve crowded food in various villages in the Trans-Ganga area of ​​Phaphamau assembly chairs.
For more than ten days, the day starts earlier for Hamza and his friends who get food prepared at his home and go to the villages affected around 9am.
He then distributed the same thing through the ship and on his vehicle, like and when the need arises.
“The administration also helped but during such a crisis, every effort was taken into account because I had seen waiting for help in the eyes of rural people who showered their blessings in abundance”, Adeel said.
Likewise, other young men, Sandeep Yadav also seemed to help locals trapped in flood water in different areas.
When he could not find a boat to sail on a thin route of flooding areas and hear students cry to help in Chota Baghada, Sandeep brought food packages and traveled with deep water to give them food.
“When we helped the flood victims, suddenly some students began to shout for help from the first floor of the cottage.
Without caring for what could be a road condition, we decided to go forward,” said Sandeep.
Equally important is the work done by Sri Satya Sai Seva Samiti volunteer, Prayagraj.
Every day, because the flood has flooded the parts of Ashok Nagar, Rajapur, buying Goan, Jhunsi, etc., Samiti volunteers have prepared healthy food and distributed it to those in need of forming a different team, told Sameer Neb from Samiti.
“Although there are many help, both in urban and rural areas, many have to do especially now when flood water is receding.
Now, our efforts are to make people aware of cleanliness and how they keep themselves safe from the disease”, said Akhilesh Singh, another senior member, Samiti.
