Gandhinagar: Asit Vora, Chairperson of Gujarat’s lower service electoral body (GSSSB), resigned from the post on Monday, following a series of government recruitment exam leaks during their body ownership as body heads.
For two months now, the protest was above the leak of the test paper and was studied that Vora was asked by CMO to examine his resignation.
The former Mayor of Ahmedabad was in his second term as GSSSB chairman and was under pressure to stop after leakage.
“I decided to resign to end this problem.
Nobody forced me to do it.
I met CM and handed over my resignation,” Vora said.
Resources in the State Government said, “Vora is expected to resign when the ranks of paper leakage break.
It will end the controversy and protest.
However, he avoided doing so for about two months.
After instructions from Delhi, he was asked to resign, after that He met with CM Bhupendra Patel and put his letters.
“Vora’s four-year ownership as GSSSB chairman was marked by two large recruitment test paper leaks, in 2019 and 2021.
A total of 15 Lakh candidates were applied and more than 12 lakh did these two exams.
There were 61 other charges, such as damaging results, in the past four years.
Manish Doshi, a Gujarat Congress spokesman said, “BJP bravely tried to protect Vora through all means, but the force of youth and protests in the entire state for two months forced BJP to request his resignation.
Vora’s resignation is not enough.
The BJP government needs to provide justice For lakh teenagers who suffer from trauma because of leaks.
We demand that the government appoint professional academics instead of their loyal corrupt leaders to these important posts and ensure such things did not happen in the future.
“The Vaghani is the Minister of Education and A spokesman for the state government, said, “he (Vora) provides resignation for routine administration reasons.
The chairman of the other board / corporation has resigned recently.”
