Thiruvananthapuram: Assembly up to 32 LSGI Ward in 12 districts held on Tuesday has recorded 75% of voter voters.
There were a total of 2,82,645 voters, including 1,48,192 women and two transgender in the voter list.
No unwanted incidents reported in connection with voting, said statement from the State Election Commission on Tuesday.
Biking-Recks are required for various reasons, including the death of selected council members or the resignation of selected members of the post.
Some of the wards that went for recanding on Tuesday were as follows: Thiruvananthapuram: Vettudad Corporation Ward, Idakkodu in Chirayankeezhu Block Panchayat, Pothancode in Pothancode Panchayat, Ponnamchundu in Vithurapanchayath.
Ernakulam: Gandhinagar at Coc0hin Corporation, Idappalichira in Piravom Municipality.
Thrissur: Azheekkodu in Mathilakam Block Panchayat, Chalampadam in Irinjalakuda Muncipality, Right House in Kadappuramgrama Panchayat.
There were 115 candidates in elections up to 32 wards.
From this, 21 candidates are women.
Voting was held from 7am to 6pm.
Vote counting will begin at 8 am on Wednesday, comply with the Covid-19 protocol.
