LONDON: The Prime Minister of Conservative Party Boris Johnson lost control of parliamentary seats which was previously safe on Friday in the results of a surprise election which was interpreted as a voter reaction to a British leader who was hit by a crisis and scandal.
Candidates for the Democratic Party of Liberal Centrist, Helen Morgan, won the North Shropshire chair with nearly 6,000 votes, reversing the conservative majority of 23,000 votes from 2019.
“Tonight, the North Whrophire people have spoken in the name of the British people.
They said hard and clearly : ‘Boris Johnson, the party has ended’, “Morgan said in his victory speech.
“Our country wins leadership.
Mr.
Johnson, you are not a leader.” Conservatives have won every previous election for most central British rural areas because the constituency was created in its current form in 1983.
Big swing came at the time when Johnson faced criticism in several fields, including staff detained by his staff Christmas when the country was locked.
The national opinion poll shows the conservative which falls behind their main rivals, the Labor Party, followed protests for the work of the two MPs, criticism of Johnson’s way of funding luxury repairs from his flat, and a surge in Covid-19 case.
Voting for the northern region of Shropshire, one of 650 seats in the British parliament, was called outside the routine selection cycle because the ruling conservative resigned after he was found to have damaged rules in the paid lobby.
The government strives to prevent resignation by changing rules designed to stop corruption in parliament, but forced to resign after the transfer provokes protritas and trust under Johnson’s leadership.
Mentioned by general elections is often used by voters to punish the powerful parties, but the scale of the Liberal Democrat victory will be considered a proof of deep public dissatisfaction.
Johnson still retains most of the seats in parliament after a comprehensive 2019 election victory built with a promise to ‘get Brexit done’ that conservative voters are right united to unite with new support plots.
North Shropshire is a Pro-Brexit area, a loyal conservative.
Analysts said this Friday’s heavy defeat further exceeded Johnson’s authority over parliamentarians who had been open from plans to introduce the Covid-19 passport.
The next national election in the UK will mature in 2024.
