Venkaiiah Naidu on Sunday called for coming in innovative ways to promote Indian language and adjust it with changing times.
Observing that language is not a static concept, it emphasizes the need to adopt a dynamic and proactive approach to enrich language.

Almost overcomes an event to commemorate the ‘Telugu Language Day’ organized by Veedhi Arugu and the South African Telugu Community (SATC), the vice president observed that Telugu was ancient language with hundreds of years of literary history and called for new efforts to promote us use.
On this occasion, Naidu paid rich spelling on Telugu’s writer and Linguist, Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy, whose warning was celebrated every year as the ‘Telugu Language Day’.

Observing that language and culture are very interrelated, Naidu advises young people to use language as a means to be re-connected with our roots.
“Languages are more than just a communication media, it is an invisible thread that connects the past, now and our future”, he said.
The vice president noted that language is not only our identity marker, but also increases our confidence.
For this, vice president underlines the need for basic education to be in a person’s mother tongue, as expected by national education policies, 2020, and ultimately expanded to higher and technical education.
Naidu also suggested increasing scientific and technical terminology in Indian language to facilitate a wider range.
“This confidence will benefit independence and gradually open the way for Atmanirbhar Bharat,” he said.
Naidu observes that the importance of maternal language does not imply the neglect of other languages.
He suggested encouraging children to learn as much as possible languages, starting with a strong foundation in my own mother tongue.
