New Delhi: Cleaning the air in the absence of Venkaiiah Naidu vice-president at the Hall of Parliament to celebrate the birthday of the birth of former PM Jawahar Lal Nehru, the vice president’s office said it was never a convention for VP to attend these functions.
“With this it was stated that VP of India had never attended such a ceremony held at the Hall of Parliament as a matter of convention and misleading to suggest that Venkaiiah Naidu’s vice president missed the ceremony yesterday.
Misleading reports have caused deep trouble for vice president,” said the office.
