Patna: Venkaiiah Naidu’s vice president arrived here on Saturday on a two-day visit.
He will discuss the meeting of the Central Agricultural University Dr.
Rajendra Prasad (RPCAU) at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Horticulture and Forestry in Pipakothi in the East Chamberan District on Sunday and inaugurated the Sixth International Dharma Dhamma Conference (IDDC) in a new place.
Nalanda University on the same day.
Naidu, who came with a special airplane Indian Air Force (IAF), was greeted at Patna Airport by Governor Phagu Chauuhan and CM Nitish Kumar.
Immediately after, he went to Raj Bhavan to stay the night.
He will return to Delhi in the afternoon on Sunday.
At the RPCAU meeting, Naidu will reward and degree to 400 students.
Governor Chauhan, CM Nitish Kumar and the Union Minister for Agriculture and the Welfare of Farmers Narendra Singh Tomar will also be present on that occasion.
Nalanda University Vice-Chancellor (VC) Sunaina Singh said as many as 200 delegates, high-ranking officials, statesmen, and those related to religious organizations from all over the world would participate in the sixth six-day IDDC held at the new University campus.
This conference has been supported by the Indian Foundation.
The theme of this conference is ‘the role of the Dharma-Dhamma tradition in building a post-covid world’.
Chauhan governor, Nitish and a minister from the Sri Lankan government will also negotiate on the initial function.
VC said the sixth IDDC will provide a shared forum for various government representatives and scholars and statesmen galaxies, in addition to representatives of religious bodies, to be intentional with themes and offer solutions to improve lifestyle people in harmony with post-covid world.
“It also feels that the Dharma-Dhamma tradition can help in making a happy and healthy world by overcoming concerns related to health, human welfare, climate change and social harmony suitable for the post-covid world,” he added.
