Nagpur: Blaming the BJP-led principal authorities for failing to control skyrocketing costs of gas and LPG cylinders, that have now gone to record highs at the current days, members of Vidarbha Rajya Andolan Samiti (VRAS) staged protests near Vidarbha Chandika temple at Itwari on Wednesday.
Similar protests were organised in each district and taluka areas in Vidarbha.
Highlighting the severe financial hardships confronted by ordinary citizens amid the outbreak, Ram Neole, main organiser of VRAS, required Prime Minister Narendra Modi should promptly intervene and lower the costs of essentials things such as diesel / gas, national gas tanks etc.”After the BJP was from the resistance, the party employed to maintain demonstrations throughout the nation against the increasing costs of key commodities and accuse the then Congress government of being conducive to the issues faced by the taxpayers,” said Mukesh Masurkar, president of VRAS youth wing.
“Exactly the identical BJP leaders are currently turning a blind eye on the skyrocketing costs when they’re in power,” he explained.
“Rather than providing relief to the taxpayers who’ve lost jobs or confronted enormous pay cuts because of this Covid outbreak, ” the ruling party leaders are attempting to shift the responsibility for the price increase on country authorities,” he explained.
Local direction would surely have assured aid to the taxpayers by decreasing taxation had Vidarbha been given statehood, stated Neole, justifying the requirement for different state.
The agitators raised slogans against Modi authorities and demanded separate statehood for Vidarbha.
Memorandums addressed PM Modi demanding decrease in prices of key commodities were given over to the officers whatsoever protest places.
