Vrindavan Widow Send 251 Handmade Rakhis to PM Narendra Modi

Noida: In front of Rakshabandhan, Vrindavan’s widow on Friday sent Rakhis to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, because they missed a direct meeting with him for the second year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
A total of 251 randis prepared by a group of old widows living in West Temple City Uttar Pradesh have been sent to the Prime Minister, an NGO that supports them.
Rakhis has colorful pictures of the prime minister and many of them have a careful message against pandemics and mod to ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, said the Sulabh Hope foundation.
Some widows even prepared face cotton masks to be served to him on Sunday, the festival day which symbolizes the bond between brothers and women.
Usha tie, 77, who personally tied Rakhi to the Prime Minister said he had spent his days in the ashram for the past five months but was happy that the randis and mask had been sent to Modi.
“I have designed a special mask personally carrying messages like ‘still safe’ and ‘Aatmnirbhar’ and Rakhis have a photo of Modi Ji with a closed face,” Septuagenarian said.
Vice President Vinita Foundation Versma remembered that during the pre-covid era, on behalf of thousands of widows, four-five widows of Mother will visit Delhi to serve a rakhis and candy basket to Modi.
“The ongoing pandemic has disappointed them but it doesn’t destroy their sprit so they start preparing Rakin and Vrindavan-themed masks specifically for Modi,” Verma said.
