Wadettiwar blamed CSTP for pollution in Chanda, ordered MPCB’s question

Chandrapur: Expressing concerns over the increase in pollution and its adverse health impacts in Chandrapur residents, Minister Guardian Vijay Wadettiwar honestly blamed the Super Thermal Power Station (CSTP) chandrapur for it and ordered Maharashtra (MPCB) pollution control board to conduct an investigation and take questions action.

The minister directed MPCB regional officials to master and start steps to curb pollution.
CSTP, which is the largest coal power plant in Maharashtra, produces a power of 2.920mW of seven units, including two with a capacity of 210MW each and each with 500 MW.

MPCB ​​has provided two special relaxation units to release 100 mg / nm3 considering his old age and an outdated ESP design.
Regional officers, MPCB, Ashok Kare claimed that CSTP had its own pollution monitoring system.
“MPCB officials conduct surprise checks at CSPP once every month.” However, we will install three ambient air quality monitoring machines at CSTP on Monday, “Kare.
