Coimbatore: Talks for Revisions Wages for Powerloom Weavers Units that do work job work for Master Weavers in Coimbatore will be held after a long postponement on Monday.
Similar talks are scheduled for weaving in Tirupur on July 29.
Weaver hopes to reach an agreement to increase a better wage during the talks that will be held by the Labor Department officials.
Powerloom Weavers work takes orders from Master Weavers and fulfills the last requirements.
Work weavers have submitted a petition to the district administration several times and did it once again last week.
Weavers said that the wage was revised for them last time in 2014.

Instead, wages are reduced from time to time quoting various problems including a pandemic situation.
