Waiting for formal directions, schools prepare to be reopened

Ludhiana: There is uncertainty over the reopening of all schools and colleges, with the level of participants and the case of Covid-19 daily still remains a concern.
The government has expanded school closure until January 31 even as part of the parents, students and school management has been looking for their opening.
Now, schools have begun to send messages to students.
BCM Arya Senior Middle School Model at Shastri Nagar will open a school for a revised class from February 1 to February 10 for class IX and XI.
Circular states that the final exam will begin on February 15.
BCM School, Chandigarh Road also did pre-council for class X and practice for class XII from Tuesday.
Also, DAV BRS Nagar will open from February 3.
District judges have allowed schools affiliated with the Central Educational Council, Indian secondary education certificates, the council for inspection of the Indian School Certificate and the Punjab School Education Council to conduct practical examinations when adhering to the Covid protocol appropriate.
According to the DM command, the school must call students for practical examinations in two groups – from 9am to 12pm to 17:00.
“Each group can have a maximum of 25 students.
School authorities must ensure compliance with all Covid guidelines issued by the Central and State Government,” the regulation.
It also added that school places must be dissed twice a day the state government has closed schools for the past month after allowing them to open for a short period, because students and teachers in several schools have tested positive covids.
Teaching staff and non-teaching in government schools have attended tasks even though students will not come.
