Nagpur: Nagpur Flying Club (NFC) is awaiting certification and other approval from the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) before recognizing students for the mutual pilot license course (PPL) and commercial personal permit courses.
This was informed by the Divisional Prajaka Lavangare-Verma Commissioner during his visit to the TOI-MT office on Tuesday.
Guaranteed by Nagpur Bench High Court Bombay, the British era club has restored flying activities from March 25 and successfully flew three aircraft.
NFC was closed for the past three and a half years because of the apathy of the Maharashtra government.
