Chennai: The Post Department has proposed to involve direct agents for sale of life insurance and rural post insurance products.
Candidates will be chosen through interviews running at the Senior Post Supervisor, Chennai Central Division in T Nagar on August16.
The minimum educational qualification is class X and the age limit is between 18 and 50.
Youth unemployed, independent youth, former adviser, former insurance company agent, former servicemen, workers, mandal workers, retirees, and SHG functionaries can attend interviews.
The selected candidate must provide cash security of RS 5,000 in the form of a National Savings Certificate / Kisan Vikas Patra to be guaranteed to the President.
