New Delhi: Officer of the Narcotics Control Bureau Barring Sameer Wankhede met the National Commission for Caste Schedule on Monday and presented a paper to support his claim that he was Dalit and question marks about the certificate of Kast Asinya.
NCSC has issued a notification to the Maharashtra government for the facts about the problem that will be delivered on Friday and also seek evidence of marriage registrars and other bodies to ensure the facts about Wankhede religion.
Minister of NCP in the Maharashtra Government Nawab Malik has alleged that Wankhede is a Muslim who cheat claims SC status to qualify in government services.
NCSC Chairman Vijay Sampla told TII that Wankhede submitted a certificate of caste published in 1995, while he joined government services and married in 2006.
He said in accordance with the papers shown by officers, he had declared himself a Hindu in the wedding list And his son after birth was also declared Hindu.
“We confirm the fact.
If he is found as a Hindu, then he is SC,” Sampla said.
However, Deputy Chairperson of the Commission Arun Haldar, however, confirmed that Wankhede was a targeted SC to arrest the son of a famous person like Shahrukh Khan in a drug case.
Haldar said Wankhede told him that Malik’s minister acted out of Vendetta because he had caught the son-in-law of the minister in drug cases and the latter did not get a guarantee for months.
“Wankhede is a senior ranking official and former IB officer.
Someone who has lived in IB must present documents to IB which is a sensitive department that will never hire an employee who has a false document,” he told toi.
Backwear Wankhede, Haldar said he was sure about the claims officers after visiting his family last week.
“What I witnessed there was petrified by my heart, seeing his family trembling with fear and the way they look very helpless, I could not find a reason to suspect that the Sameer would present fake documents,” he said.
Haldar also defended his previous statement in Mumbai, by saying he was tied to protect the SC officers from being attacked and that he only underlined the factual position that anyone who opposed the commission could face a call or even arrest, in response to Malik’s accusation.
