Rajkot: A bank employee, who was accused of sucking nearly Rs 44 Lakh, allegedly committed suicide at Temple Town Virpur from the Rajkot district.
Vijay Danidhariya, a resident of Virpur, allegedly consumed a poisonous toxic beverage and ended his life near footsteps from the famous Jamaram temple.
Two months ago, he was booked after the State Bank of India (SBI) manager had filed a complaint that Danidhariya had stolen Rs 43.75 lakh that the first had been given to him to deposit at the ATM.
The police said the defendant said he would have lunch and never returned with cash given to him by the manager.
When the manager checks, an empty ATM and Danidhariya’s cellphone is turned off even though it repeatedly called him.
Police found a suicide note which was written by Danidhariya where he stated that he was very demanding debt and stolen cash were also not enough to pay back
