Want harmony, ready to reduce Namaz in open area, say city Muslim groups

Gurgaon: Facing protests for weeks over Namaz who are offered in public places, members of the Muslim community on Monday filed a memorandum to the Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, said they were ready to stop Friday prayers in open areas which were part of the open land .
Joining members of the Waqf Haryana council, they also seek the elimination of encroachment from the mosque and waqf property to make room for the church prayer for peace and harmony.
Memorandum was sent through Deputy Commissioner Gurgaon.
The city currently has 37 designated Namaz sites intended after protests erupted in 2018 during Friday prayers in the open space.
The last few weeks have seen similar protests, with two memorandums delivered by a variety of local clothes looking for prohibitions.
One organization, Sanyukt Hindu Sangarsh Samiti, has been stated on Sunday will conduct Puja Govardhan in the designated sector 12 NAMAZ sites on Friday.
regularly under police protection.
“Prayers held on the wishes of the people are not aligned with Islam and national unity,” he said.
Rajaka added that this problem was used “to throw one community against another”.
He said the Muslim community is “not insisting on” and its members “ready to accommodate and change peace and harmony”.
The waqf board has 19 land packages in Gurgaon, where six broke and the rest waved.
Rajaka said they have submitted a list of sites to administration, asking them to free land so they can be used to name.
“We have asked the mosque to do some round of prayer on Friday to accommodate as many people as possible,” he added.
Some individuals have also submitted themselves from their land for Namaz, said Rajaka.
In memorandum, the community also demanded land in new sectors for the construction of mosques, he added.
Shahzad Khan from Muslim Ekta Manche said this problem has caused tensions to be created in the city at any time.
“We want to stop this tension forever, even if it means giving up some sites (Namaz),” Khan said.
He added that the public was ready to offer Namaz only in places identified by the authorities with consultation with all stakeholders.
The same commissioner Yash Garg resolves the problem.
“This will discuss the length of the site, objections from possible groups and solutions.
Our priority is to maintain law and order and ensure peace and harmony,” he added.
