Want humans to pose as a priest for 27 years

Jaipur: Desh Bandhu, 50, believes that Jaipur police finally stopped looking after almost 27 years.
He enjoyed his days of hiding as a popular priest of local Ashram in Bapora in Haryana until a police party posed when worshipers whispered to him that they came to bring him.
Bandhu Desh who seemed shaken, lived comfortably like a Maharaj ri for years, turned pale and quietly surrendered to the VIKI police station (Vishwakarma Industrial region) on Wednesday.
According to Sho, VIIK, Mango Lal Vishnoi, some Imam’s people did not believe and the police had to convince them that the man in their detention was one Desh Bandhu JAT, a fugitive in 1994 after being ordered under section 325 (voluntarily cause sad wounds) from IPC.
“We never stopped looking for it because there were several warrants issued on him.
He has changed his permanent address to avoid the police and become an Ashram Priest in Bapora in the Bhiwani district in Haryana.
He initially worked under a chief priest and replaced him after the priest’s head died , “Vishnoi told Toi, added that for more than two decades Jaipur police were looking for a fugitive in several cities until they found instructions a few days ago.
Vishnii said that a police party including Head-Constable Sahab Singh was sent to Bhiwani.
Police arrived at Ashram disguised as worshipers.
Singh and his team confirmed the fugitive identity.
When people roam around Ashram, one of the policemen secretly told Desh Bandhu that they knew his original identity.
The source said that the fugitive wore and agreed to come up with city police.
“He did not expect that the police would still chase him after more than two decades.
We also seek help from the local police because it is a sensitive case,” said an official.
Sho Vishni said that special operations were launched to capture old fugitives.
Under the same operation, two other fugitives, Subey Singh Jat, 55, and Prateek Singh, 35, were arrested.
“Our team at the VKI continues to follow up the instructions for all the fugitives,” Vishnoi said.
