Want to be imprisoned, the man who was harassed made Chowki police

Rajkot: In a strange incident, a 23-year-old man who was reportedly bored with his wife who had a domestic problem and wanted to go to prison, trying to burn Chowki police on Jalan Jamnagar on Sunday afternoon on Sunday afternoon.
Police, who arrested Devji Chavda, a resident of Rajiv Nagar on Jalan Jamnagar, said that the perpetrators did not even try to escape after his fanatical action when he claimed to want to be arrested.
The incident occurred around 4pm at the police of Wadi Chowki which was located on Jalan Jamnagar when Chavda, who lived opposite the Chowki police, marched to a place in armed fuel and burned it.
Some traders who saw Burning Chowki rushed to extinguish the fire and also told the police.
“When Chowki was closed, no one was injured,” Khumansinh Vala, Inspector, the Gandhigram police station told TII.
He said that police personnel immediately rushed to the place and found burning standing there and did not make an effort to escape from the place.
“We held it back and investigated this case,” Vala added.
“As long as it was questioned, he told the police that he was bored with his wife and wanted to go to jail so he would at least get food there.
The man gets his livelihood by working as a daily bet,” the police said.
