Producing Gopi before the reporter, conscious CO Charu Dwivedi said that this case was originally registered below Section 302 (murder) and 201 (the disappearance of evidence) IPC.
Now, with the arrival of postmortem reports and recognition by Gopi, part 376 (IPC) is also added to the kasing.
Gopi has a criminal history at the Shivpur police station, he said, adding that some documents, bicycles and cellphones were recovered from their ownership.
Gopi, a native of Shivpur, has come into contact with the girl when he starts living in his aunt place in the Rohanian area to work as a plumber.
During the initial interrogation, Gopi silenced that he was in a relationship with the girl and used to talk to him by telephone for hours.
He further admitted that when the girl stopped talking to him by telephone for the past few weeks, he suspected that his girlfriend came into contact with other boys.
Gopi said, when the girl reached her studies on September 2, she went there to meet her.
After the end of the college, he took the girl to Madhopur where he raped him in the bushes.
After that, he killed him and escaped from the place.
