Madurai: Chief Minister M K Stalin on Saturday said he wanted to make Tamil Nadu number one in this country.
Speaking at the Sabha gram in Papapatti Panchayat in Madurai District, Stalin said, “I have chosen the best-performing chairman minister (in a media survey).
But what I really want to do is make the number one Tamil Nadu.” Stalin, created it.
History by becoming the first lead Minister to participate in Gram Sabha, said he came to Papapathi because the village stood up for social equality.
He remembered how the DMK government in 2006 achieved impossible by selecting the local body of Papapathi.
“This was achieved by Ashok Vardhan Shetty and T udhayachandran officers.
Udhayachandran is your collector, and now he is my personal secretary,” he said.
After the selection was made for the reserve constituency of Papapatti, Keripatti, Nettarmangalam, and Kottakatchiyendal.
Then the head of the Ministary M Karanganidhi called for a celebration.
A peruvizha Samathuva was held at Chennai.
“It was during this festival, the leader of the VCK Tholl Thirumavalavan gave Kaaignar a prematic Samathuva title,” Stalin said.
