Wanted: 4K specialist, 10k doctor MBBS, said GUJ Govt

Ahmedabad: The State Government on Thursday told the Gujarat High Court about his readiness plan for the third Covid-19 wave which was possible and stated that it was ready to meet the challenges based on the experience obtained during the last two waves in the pandemic.
In his readiness plan, the state government has claimed that resource requirements will increase multifold.
In a document, it was said that the requirements of the specialist doctor were 2,350 during the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic and this would increase to 4,000 in the case of the third wave coming.
Similarly, 10,000 MBBS and internships will be needed during the third wave by opposing the need for 5,200 MBBS during the second wave.
There are 12,000 nurses’ requirements during the last surge, and in the next wave of nearly 22,000 nurses will be required to attend Covid-19 patients.
However, written statements and documents were silent to find human resources, especially highly trained staff.
A month ago, the state government had acknowledged before the High Court that they felt very difficult to find specialists for Covid-19 facilities and trained people were not available even after the state government offered them salary Rs 2.5 lakh per month.
The State Authority stated the helplessness in filling out vacancies for specialists at Dhanvantari Hospital supported by Drdo in April and May.
To meet the requirements during the last surge in the Covid case, the state government was called 1,415 bound doctors, who had studied in the government medical college with a nominal cost, and gained expertise with the pursuit of postgraduate, for the task of Covid-19 during the last.
a surge in pandemic.
However, most do not appear.
The state government has initiated the process of registering a shot of 799 specialists because it did not appear to carry out “moral duties and their law to the community and the state government”.
Against orders to apply for CALS below Part 3 of the epidemic law, many of these specialists have approached HC for legal protection.
Their case will likely be heard on Friday.
In his written statement, the Ministry of Health and the Welfare of the State Family said that when the number of daily cases had dropped to 93 and the recovery rate had surged to 98%, “the state has started his preparation to improve and improve his health infrastructure if the third wave of pandemics occurs.”
