Wants VPN Parliament Committee Can Be Banned in India: Reports

Ending the Virtual Private Network (VPN) service as a threat to the efforts of supervision by the government, the standing parliamentary committee in homework was reported to want the Indian government to ban VPN services in India.
According to the report by Medianama, the committee explained that the reason why VPN services must be banned in India is because the application and VPN tool are easily available online and this allows “criminals to remain anonymous online.” For those who are unconscious, VPN services are used by most companies in India to secure their network and digital assets of hackers.
Also, VPN tools are becoming increasingly important during locking when employees are forced to work from home using an unsafe home internet connection.
While VPN services allow internet users to access blocked content in this country and also remain “anonymous” to certain levels of online, the benefits of VPN are very large for companies when it comes to securing the network.
The committee also proposes “to check the use of dark VPNs and webs.” According to a report by Medianama, the committee recommended VPN services that blocked permanently with “internet service provider assistance” throughout India.
“” The committee noted with the anxiety of the technology challenge caused by VPN and dark web services, which can bypass the cyber security wall and allow criminals to stay anonymously online.
Until now, VPN can be easily downloaded, because many websites provide facilities and advertise them.
The committee, therefore, recommended that the Interior Ministry must coordinate with the electronic ministry and information technology to identify and permanently block the VPN with the help of an internet service provider.
“Furthermore, it suggests that” the coordination mechanism must also be developed with international institutions to ensure that this VPN is permanently blocked.
“Report by Medianama also said that the committee wants” the ministry takes the initiative to strengthen the tracking and supervision mechanism by increasing further and developing advanced technology , to check the use of VPN and dark web.
