Ambala: In a gang war, a derabassi man was killed and other injured after rivals firing indiscriminately in their car in front of the DAV public school on Jalan Raya Ambala-Jagadhri at Ambala Cantonment at around 16:50 on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as a Mohit Rana, which was in his 30s and residents of Rajapur Village in Derabassi.
What was injured was Vishal, aka Bhola, from Kacha Bazaar, Ambala Cantt.
The incident was caught on a CCTV camera installed in a shop near the place.
The tape showed Mohit and Vishal traveling from Ambala to Saha Side in a black car.
Mohit drove a car and Vishal sat next to him.
When they turned to Kardhan, a white SUV who chased them intercepted their car.
Two men came out of the SUV and started shooting indiscriminately in the car from the driver’s side.
After 20 seconds, the criminals fled towards Saha on the National Highway 444-a.
Pedestrians heard police.
Eyewitnesses said more than a dozen shots were fired.
The police team reached the place and took the injured to a civil hospital, Ambala Cantt, where Mohit was declared dead.
Vishal is called pgimer, chandigarh.
He has received several bullet injuries.
Mahesh Nagar Sho Inspector Suresh said, “Their families have been told.
We have registered a murder case.
Our team restored eight empty bullets from the place.
Post-Mortem Mohit will be done on Friday.”
