Gurugram: There is still a week to leave in October, but in 158, the Covid case reported this month so far has been slightly higher than September 150.
There is also an increase in the level of participation from 0.1% at 0.2%.
Doctors in the city show general softness in covid behavior, such as wearing masks in public places, can contribute to this increase in case.
They expressed concerns on the trend, said the celebration season was far from above and the buyer above the market in front of Diwali, and urged people to wear their masks correctly and follow the Covid protocol to prevent another surge.
After the second wave of the deadly, when Gurugram has added 1 lakh case for the calculation until April and May, the Covid number has begun to fall from June and so on.
The number of monthly cases fell to 150 in September from 654 in June.
The Chief Medical Officer Virender Yadav warned people by letting their guard down.
“There is a minimum increase in the level of participant this month.
If people continue to relax in their behavior, we might see an increase in the case in November as well.
We always urge people to wear masks in public and maintain social distance,” he added.
In comparison, Gurugram has reported 19,665 cases in November last year.
“People have not participated in the safety protocol during last year’s festival.
Vaccines may have provided a shield against viruses, but it is always better to take precautions,” added Yadav.
City vaccination coverage is now strong enough, with more than 70% of the population has taken both shots.
Gurugram, until now, does not have any detention zone because of the places where the case has been reported quite far from each other.
On Monday, Gurugram has 40 active cases.
It added eight new cases on Monday while 12 patients recovered.
However, there has been no death from infection in the past two months.
The doctor said despite the case more than last month, there was no “significant” surge.
“We have not seen a significant surge so far.
New patients have not shown severe symptoms,” said Dr.
Sushila Kataria, an intensive care expert in Medanta-medicine.
Of the 40 active cases, only one patient must be hospitalized while the other recovered at home.
Doctors have linked this trend with extensive vaccination coverage and development of antibodies in people.
“Delhi-NCR hasn’t really witnessed a sharp surge after the second wave.
But because the celebration season, there has been a significant increase in social meetings and aduse markets, throwing caution to the wind.
With a surge report coming from China, Singapore and London , we must be extra careful.
Everyone must follow safety norms and should not avoid themselves from making themselves staggered, “said Dr.
Shivanshu Raj Goyal, consultant (breathing, pulmonology and sleeping pills) at Artemis Hospital.
Maintaining social distance and wearing masks is the key to preventing the possibility of a surge, the doctor said.
“The new variant is reported in many countries.
Although there is no alarming surge here, the hospital must be prepared for unwanted situations.
People must be careful and get themselves vaccinated,” said Dr.
Manoj Goel, Director of Pulmonology at home at home Fortis pain.
