Ghaziabad: Rampant garbage disposal is still around the Hindon River.
Recently, Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC) has issued a notification to Khoda Nagar Palika Parishad to dispose of garbage near the banks of the river, even when Earthmover seized from the place.
After the prohibition on garbage disposal in Raj Nagar Extension and Galand, civil bodies found it difficult to deal with generation of waste.
On Thursday, garbage disposal near the city forest and the Nandi Park area was witnessed.

Meanwhile, residents of several villages, including Galand, reached the GMC office to protest the proposed energy waste plant.
They wanted to meet the Mayor, but because he was not present in the office, the villagers returned after sending a memorandum.
