Gurgaon: Spread 3.5 hectares in the 9A sector, a park, which has served as a green lung for residents, now it smells foul because it overflows.
Residents complained that the gutter of the closest colony had flowed to the park for more than 20 days and despite giving MCG officials, nothing was done so far.
They claimed that Vihar’s solar residents illegally connected their sewers to their sewer room side by side with Adjining.
The park a few years ago and this room was connected to the old master gutter line in the area.
About a month ago, after the construction of a new master line around it, GMDA had connected the old gutter network, making it dead.
As a result, water sewers flood the park.
“We have invested so much effort in maintaining this park,” said Lalit Suraj Bhola, Secretary General of Rwa in Sector 9a.
Kumar, Commissioner with MCG, “I am not yet accepting complaints.
However, I will direct the technical Wing official to resolve the earliest problem.”
