Jaipur: JMC-Mayor Sheel Dhabai has said the council delegation and technical people from the Civic body will visit Pune to learn immediately waste management techniques.
Dhabai, who has attended the All India mayor conference in Varanasi recently, has taken resolutions to make Jaipur one of the cleanest cities.
Overcoming a press conference on Monday, Mayor Sheel Dhabai, said the mayor of all companies throughout the country had gathered to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video conferencing.
“Modi instructed the mayor of all the city companies to make a garbage-free city about the mission of Swachh Bharat.
I spoke with the Mayor and official Pune Municipal Corporation and decided that a team of members of the board and the JMC-Greater technical people would visit Pune to learn waste management techniques.
We will prepare project reports too, “Dhabai said.
The mayor said there was no place for companies such as BVG in Jaipur City and 15 day notifications had been given.
If the system does not improve immediately, the BVG company will be displayed a way out, he said.
A special campaign will be held to make the city of Polythene free and permanent settings will be made for street vendors.
Loans will also be given to vendors under the Pradhan Mantri Nidhi Yojana so that their livelihood continues.
