Waste Overflowing: Resident Block Road, protest against the corporation

Gurgaon: Ward 22 residents held a protest on Monday on Jalan Gurgaon-Pataudi against the corporation of Gurgaon City (MCG) because of their alleged failure in dealing with the problem of waste that overflowed over the past two months over the past two months.
The protesters blocked the road in the morning which led to disruption to the traffic movement for about an hour.
Residents said that they had faced a terrible time because of the accumulation of gutter water on the streets, which was not only a scene but emitted a foul odor and was a health hazard.
Dev Rawat, a resident of Heera Nagar, said, “The level of houses in the low area, therefore, overflowing gutter water enters houses.

Meanwhile, Pradeep Ahlawat, Commissioner together with MCG officials conducted recent regional inspections.
“I have visited these areas and found that the worries raised by the natives.
I have held a joint meeting on Wednesday to review all the delayed jobs in the environment and will try to resolve the problem as soon as possible,” he said.
