Italian Carmaker Lamborghini on Thursday launched the Lamborghini Huracan Sto Super Sports car at a price marked at Rs 4.99 Crore (ex-showroom).
Developed by Lamborghini Squadra Corsa, Series Car Racing Car, Super Trofeo Omologata (STO) is a super sport homologist car that claims to offer the highest downforce level in the class and the best aerodynamic balance in rear wheel drive cars.
In terms of engine and transmission, the new Lamborghini Huracan STO displays a V10 engine that is confirmed naturally which shuffles 640bhp and 565nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
The Huracan Sto rear wheel accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in 3 seconds and from 0 to 200kmph in 9 seconds.
This reaches a top speed of 310kmph.
The exterior of Huracan Sto embraces a unique Cofango, a carbon fiber component one part consisting of front, fender and front bumper hood.
It also displays the front splitters and lattices on the front waist, the rear fender with NACA air intake, rear engine hood with air spoon and integrated shark fins, and the rear wing that can be adjusted manually.
The interior of Huracan Sto focuses on a lightweight design.
It implements carbon fiber floor mats, door panels, and door opening hooks with racing helmet storage compartments in front luggage.
It also includes an infotainment system that is updated with a telemetry system that is connected to monitor and record track performance.
Lamborghini Huracan Sto offers three new driving modes – STO, Trofeo and Pioggia to customers.
Sto mode is ideal for driving on the road and for curved roads.
Trofeo mode is ideal for dry conditions while Pioggia (Rain) mode is optimized for wet asphalt.
Lamborghini claims that Huracan Sto uses carbon fiber as the main ingredient for the exterior panel.
It has a dry weight of 1,339 kg, which is less than 43 kg compared to Huracan’s performance, another model of the Huracan series.
Lamborghini Huracan tends to compete with Ferrari 488 Pista, Porsche 911 GT2 RS, and Black Mercedes-AMG GT series.
