Watch: Rapid-Fire Q & A with ManPreet, NEERAJ & LOVLINA

New Delhi: While fitness is very important for athletes, Indian men’s hockey captain Manpreet Singh likes to have butter chicken when it comes to taking his favorite comfort food.
However, the gold medalist of the Javelin-Thrower Olympics and Tokyo Neeraj Chopra was quite tight on his diet as he survived fruits when it comes to entertaining food.
Neeraj, Boxer Lovlina Borghain and Manpreet gave some interesting replies in the Q & A Fire-Fire Candid video tweeted by Thakur’s anurag Minister on Friday.
“A quick round of fire is honest with the Olympic Medal @ neeraj_chopra1 @lovlinabobloyai @ mangreetpawar07 View this,” Anurag Thakur Tweeted.
The Indian men’s hockey team ended the 41-year-old medal drought by winning a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics and the captain said he called his mother right after a victory to tell him.
“I called my mother when my father’s dream was to see me win a medal at the Olympics but when the dream was reached, he wasn’t with us,” Manpreet said in the video.
While Lovlina also called home after she won the medal, the gold medalist Olympiad Neeraj was called a former Thrower of India Javelin-Thrower Choudhary.
“I spoke with Jai Choudhary, who was my senior,” Neeraj said.
Meanwhile, Manpreet jokingly said he would be a truck driver in Dubai if he did not play hockey for India.
Answering what most of them feared, Manpreet said that when he did not tell his true mother, Serbuxer Lovlina said he was afraid height and Neeraj said he was not afraid of anything.
Tokyo games are carried out with Covid security limits and all events are held behind closed doors.
About 11,000 athletes from more than 200 countries competed at the Olympics.
India recorded the best results in the match with seven medals (one gold, two silver, and four bronze).
